"I originally got into filmmaking when I created an animation about my anxiety for a school project. The process of creating it was so incredibly liberating, and it made me fall in love with filmmaking. That animation ended up getting over 30,000 views online, with countless comments explaining how my story helped them. Since then I have been making comedy films, and films that have heavy mental health themes. In the future I hope to create influential films that I wish I had when I was little. I struggled so much with understanding femininity, sexuality, anxiety, and depression. I wish I had that type of representation. I hope to tell stories that haven’t been told before, so the other little girls out there that are struggling can feel seen."
